Week 7

Today I played a chess game with Arnia.  It was fun.  Fun fun fun.  We also went into our environment groups.  I am in the gardening group with Arnia, Christina, Sophie, Brianna and Claudia. Before morning tea, we played an great game of Bull's Eye.  As I said, it was great.  How you play is that you have to be quick and smart. There is 4 (four) hoops.  And 4 thingys that you throw into them.  There is teams.  1st group that gets it in the hoop wins the round!  GREAT!!!

Today...

Today at Enrich I did creative writing with Darryn.  It was cool!  But before we did that me and a lot of  other people did 3D drawings with Darryn too.  We had to listen, listen, listen and draw draw draw!  We drew 3 boxes and next time we are going to draw another 3 boxes underneath and we will probably shade them.  The Wilson game today was called "Pegasaurus" - you have to try and snatch pegs from the other players.

Teacher Comment

Hi Grace
You did some great cartooning today!  Stu Duval has some very creative ways of making cartoon faces using numbers.  You did well to import your sketches into Kid Pix, and then have a go at manipulating them even more using tools such as the paint pots.  It’s great to see your enthusiasm for your environment project.  I think you girls have made a great plan of attack to get your edible garden up and running in our outdoor space!  I look forward to seeing you make more progress on this next week.  Keep up the great motivation Grace.  Katie

The Cartoons

Today at Enrich I did cartooning with Katie and it was really good fun and I created some pretty cool cartoons by following the steps of an artist called Stu Duvall. We also got to put some of our own ideas in and I did some funny ones in mine.

Here are some of the cartoons I drew - Enjoy!

ZzzZZzZzZ! Your Shocked

Today is the beginning (like always).  Today we didn't do elephant toothpaste this time though.  But
we did "trying to make a light bulb light up only using tools from the house."  None liup!  Someone only got it to flicker, so that was the best.
Jenni said you could get a big shock, so we put rubber on the alligator clip.
Tomorrow is another day.
